Originating from Switzerland, Basil studied fine arts and art education at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK). After that he got certified by Make-up Designory (MUD Studio Berlin). Working as a freelance make up artist since 2019, having trust worthy clients, published in magazines, collaborated on notable projects like The Hunger Games and competing as a finalist on Warner bros Glow up Season 2. His work is synonymous with excellence and professionalism.

Basil has also conducted masterclasses, sharing his expertise with aspiring makeup artist and travelled the world with his make up kit. Praised by renowned figures in the industry, including Val Garland, Loni Bauer, Nikkie Tutorials, Armin Morbach and Einat Dan. Basil Prinz is known for his exceptional talent, unconventional make up and creative style. Currently based in Berlin, he operates as a freelance makeup artist in Zurich, Berlin and Europe, seamlessly blending technical expertise with a passion for artistic innovation.
